Join us at the Kellian Hockey Girls Dangle and Snipe Summer Camp, a comprehensive program designed to elevate the skills of aspiring players in skating, stick handling, and shooting. Our camp caters to both girls who are eager to enhance their hockey abilities.

The primary focus of the Kellian Hockey summer camp centers on refining essential skating techniques, including balance, inside and outside edge control, stops and starts, crossovers, and proficient forwards and backward skating. Additionally, we emphasize puck control, with numerous exercises and challenges incorporating the use of a puck, thereby enhancing overall stick handling skills.

A typical day at our camp begins with an off-ice stick handling clinic at 8:45 am, followed by morning ice time from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. During the morning session, we concentrate on fundamental edge and balance techniques, complemented by strategic stick handling instruction. Our goal is to equip players with foundational skills that will enable them to progress to more advanced maneuvers, fostering creativity and effectiveness on the ice.

After a well-deserved lunch break, our campers engage in off-ice activities designed to enhance their overall athleticism. These activities encompass a variety of games, including street hockey, broomball, "ultimate handball", 4-square (hockey version), and more. Our second ice time session runs from 1:45 pm to 2:45 pm and features drills that build upon the morning's techniques, incorporating competitive and non-competitive small games and challenges.

We prioritize a depth of fundamental technique over breadth, as we believe this approach encourages players to develop their unique style over time. Rather than overwhelming participants with an extensive range of skills to learn in a week, we focus on core fundamentals and delve into them deeply.

Our camp sessions are divided as follows:

  • Girls-only session: Ages 9-14.

  • Players younger than 9 may be considered with a recommendation from their current coach.

To secure your spot, a non-refundable deposit of $250 is due at the time of booking, followed by a final payment by May 1st. Timely payments are crucial to maintaining your reservation, as spots may be offered to players on the waitlist if payments are not received promptly. Join us for an unforgettable summer of hockey skill development at Kellian Hockey!
